Kada je 13. marta ove godine izabran za predstavnika Srbije na prestižnom takmičenju „Evrovizija“, svi su polagali nade u mladu zvezdu „Granda“ Milana Stankovića. Iako se nije visoko kotirao, Milan je izazvao pažnju svetskih medija, ali je istom vrtoglavom brzinom kojom je postao slavan, nestao sa medijskog neba. Nigde ne nastupa, ne gostuje, ne javlja se na telefon, niti se bilo šta zna o njemu.

Po završetku „Evrovizije“ pokrenute su priče da Milan Stanković više neće biti sastavni deo „Granda“, te da čelni ljudi ove kuće žele da ga izbace iz „jata“. S druge strane, šuškalo se i da mladi Milan želi samovoljno da napusti kuću koja ga je iznedrila, te da želi da potpiše ugovor sa PGP-RTS-om. Iako je sve ostalo u domenu trača, poznato je samo da je Milan, zajedno sa Nemanjom i Milenom, jedini koji nije pozvan na poslednji sastanak producentske kuće „Grand“ koji je nedavno upriličen, te da će se o njegovoj sudbini znati nešto više tek u septembru. Tada će biti objavljeno kako, da li i na koji način će Milan biti u sastavu „Granda“.

S druge strane, Duška Vučenić Lučić, portparol RTS-a, kaže za „Blic“ da je po završetku „Evrovizije“, završena i saradnja sa Milanom.

- Nisu tačne informacije da Milan želi da izdaje za našu kuću, niti da smo u tom kontekstu u bilo kakvom kontaktu s njim - tvrdi Duška, a Milan se danima nije oglašavao uprkos pokušajima da ga dobijemo na telefon.

Iako je godinama pravilo da svi naši predstavnici na „Evroviziji“ po dolasku nastavljaju i uzdižu svoje karijere, naprave hit ili značajniji koncert, Stanković se od maja do danas nigde nije pojavljivao. Upućeni tvrde da je do raskola između njega i čelnog čoveka „Granda“ Saše Popovića došlo zbog brojnih razmirica jer je Milan po povratku imao mnogobrojne zahteve, a nije želeo da ispoštuje neke dogovore, između ostalog odbio je da daje intervjue za određene medije.

Saša Popović i producent „Zvezda granda“ Žika Jakšić tvrdili su da Milan nije izbačen iz „Granda“, već da je otišao da se malo odmori. Izgleda da odmor predugo traje…
